Hub67 was a community centre in Hackney Wick managed and run by The Yard Theatre.
It is currently closed, as of December 2022.
About Hub67
Located in the heart of Hackney Wick, Hub67 provided a home for the local community. It was a place for neighbours, for young people and for creative ideas. We took on management of the building in May 2016, running it as a community space with an artistic vision until December 2022 when it closed indefinitely, due to redevelopment plans in the area. But, The Yard Theatre remains open today and the Local Programme hasn’t gone anywhere.
All our youth programmes are still running, just in different venues around Hackney Wick – and we’ve got big plans for even more new and exciting things for 2023 which we can’t wait to update you on soon.
Even though The Hub is closed, we’ll still be here in Hackney Wick championing local young artists, providing artist development to those aged 7 and up, and bringing together our neighbours to make and experience art together.
Hub67 was your space for the last eight years and our home for the last six. We’ll miss it enormously, and things might look a bit different for a while, but we’re still here for Hackney Wick.
