CHAIR OF THE BOARD
We are looking for a new leader – someone who can steer, inspire and represent The Yard Theatre for the next three years. It’s an exciting moment to join: we are about to deliver a £6 million capital project, with plans to significantly increase both our audiences and earned income by 2026. So we’re looking for someone who can utilise their energies, ideas and networks to enable us to achieve these ambitions together.

HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
As Head of Development, you will enable The Yard to produce new shows that explore the possibilities of theatre; to support the next generation of artists; and become a permanent East London theatre for everyone, by completing a £6.5 million capital project in 2026.

LEAD ARTIST FOR YARD YOUNG ARTISTS: 16-21
We’re looking for an artist with bold ideas and an exciting creative practice to lead Yard Young Artists: 16-21, our in-house group of 16-21 year old theatre-makers, to research, develop and devise a theatre showcase to present on The Yard’s stage.

Artist commission call out
We are seeking to commission a new idea for the Yard Young Artist Company for a work-in-progress presentation in early 2024, responding to the idea of: The Natural World.
We want artists who are good at working with people to develop ideas, skilled at listening, weaving together ideas and facilitating a room. We want people excited by young people and their ideas; performance will be grown in collaboration between the young people and the artist.

BARTENDERs
We’re looking for friendly individuals to help run our bar for nightlife. We aim to provide a unique space for London which is versatile, exciting and caring. Bartenders are responsible for upholding a culture of excellence in the front of house team, ensuring customers always receive the highest level of service.
