Aged 11-15? Love performing and want to grow your creative skills?
Join The Yard and jump into a year of performing, making friends, and creative experimentation. Yard Young Artists: 11-15 is for curious and enthusiastic young artists, whatever stage of your creative journey.
During the year, you’ll learn what it takes to be an actor through masterclasses in acting, improvising, directing and other elements of making a theatre production. As a group, you’ll work together with a professional artist to bring these skills together and create a showcase using your own ideas and stories to perform on The Yard’s stage.
As well as all that, you’ll get to meet other creative young people, see theatre shows across London, and make friends over pizza at the start of every session. All for free.
Maybe you’re thinking about doing drama GCSE, or you’ve started writing and want advice on how to put together an exciting script, or maybe you love making TikToks but want to learn how to be more confident in front of an audience. It all starts here, at Yard Young Artists.
Sign up deadline: 5pm, 26 September
